Channel tools

Last updated: 4 October 2026

“Esti Univerzum kezelő” is the private tool we use to run our own two YouTube channels, The Evening Universe and its Hungarian sister channel, Esti Univerzum. It is not a public service: only the channel owner can sign in, and it only ever works with these two channels.

What it does

• Reads new comments on our own videos, so that questions get an answer.
• Posts replies to those comments on behalf of the channel, and holds back or removes spam.
• Uploads our finished videos together with their titles, descriptions, thumbnails and subtitles.
• Reads the channels' own statistics, such as views, watch time and subscriber numbers, to produce a daily summary for the owner.

How it connects to YouTube

The tool uses YouTube API Services. The channel owner signs in with Google and grants the tool permission to manage the two channels and to view their analytics. Nobody else is ever asked to sign in.

By using the tool, the owner agrees to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. How the tool handles data is described in our privacy policy.
